OUR STORY

Midtown Church was planted in 2021 by the Intermountain District Church of the Nazarene to be a Christ-centered community in service to the unchurched and de-churched of the Treasure Valley. From 2021-2023 Midtown met at Tree City Church on Eagle Road before moving to its current location at Anser Charter School in Garden City in August 2023. Midtown has taken various shapes in its short existence, but remains committed to its central missional tenets of Core Values, Small Group Discipleship, and the movement of the Spirit through Spiritual Disciplines. Midtown remains a part of the denomination that planted it, though strives to be a space where all are welcome no matter their theological background (including no theological background); if you’re interested in knowing more about the Church of the Nazarene you can find more at nazarene.org.

Midtown began with a group of people longing for less and more.

Less isolation, more community.

Less watching from a distance, more serving our neighbors.

Less monologue, more dialogue.

Less wandering in the world and more following of Jesus.
