What is a park party?
Great question.
At Midtown Church, we believe in Community over Isolation. (Seriously, it's one of our core values.) We also believe it's really easy to be isolated in our society. So, we want to get to know the people of Garden City, as well as give the people of Garden City a chance to get to know each other.
Simply put, it's a safe space for people to bring the whole family for some food, games, and fun times with new friends.
Can I just show up?
Yup! Midtown Church is providing burgers/hot dogs, and our Midtown community will be bringing some side dishes to share. So feel free to just bring yourself and show up ready to have some fun & meet other people from Garden City.
Can I bring friends?
Would it be a party if you couldn't?
Of course! The purpose of this party is to get to know other people in Garden City, so feel free to bring any friends or neighbors that would enjoy a day of food and fun.
