Heaven & Earth
At some point in our lives, most of us have contemplated what heaven is like. Just hearing the word “heaven” conjures up a myriad of mental images like clouds, angels with harps, and streets of gold. For many of us, our concept of heaven has a religious connection but has our concept of heaven been shaped by Jesus and the Bible, or has it been shaped by something else? In this spiritual practice, we're looking at our beliefs about heaven and asking some important questions. What did the biblical authors think about heaven? What did Jesus think about heaven? And do our beliefs about heaven have any impact on how we live our lives now?
